… and my wold is another. No 9 to 5 but dawn till dusk. No documentation, no story, no Full-HD 3D Dolby Surround projection. Only reality. No tomorrow like today like yesterday. No beaten tracks before, only marks behind.
What long lays asleep, scratched the surface. The first „last times“ grabbed my dreaming head and slammed it back to ground, provides sleepless nights, demands „you’re not dreamig anymore“. With family and friends the last christmas, the last birthday, the last new year’s eve. Where and with whom the next?
Many „last times“ still waiting. Much to manage, to handle, to do, to end, to start, to find, to discover.
I can not wait

Lötschenpass und Hockenhorn

Am Feiertagswochenende habe ich das Fahrrad ausnahmsweise gegen die Wanderstiefel getauscht und den Lötschenpass in der Schweiz erkundet. Bei Traumwetter ging es von Kandersteg durch das Gasteretal auf den Lötschenpass. Nach einer Übernachtung auf der dortigen Hütte dann früh am Morgen auf das Hockenhorn (3290m) und hinab nach Ferden im Lötschental. Zwei wunderschöne Wandertage mit einigen Höhenmetern, allerfeinstem Herbstwetter und grandioser Aussicht. Vielen Dank an B. für’s mitnehmen!

Time is busy with inoculation, visit the doctor, check documents, kick off the household, getting informations about visa, routes, countries, reading, writing, calculating, checking and buy equipment and last, but definitly not least, beeing pleased to do it.

Ein kurzer Ausflug in den Schwarzwald, bei wunderschönem Wetter am Feuer sitzten, die Ruhe genießen, entspannen und die Sterne beobachten. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein Stück deutsche Geschichte - unterwegs in Brandenburg

Ein Ausflug der etwas anderen Art am vergangenen Wochendende. Unterwegs auf einem verlassenen russischen Grundstück mit unbekanntem Zweck gab es vieles zu entdecken, bestaunen und erforschen. Ein Spielplatz für Erwachsene und höchst interessante Einblicke in eine (noch gar nicht so lange) vergangen Zeit.

Iceland extreme – by bike on Iceland’s hardest courses

Stones sputter. A blue jeep stops next to my bike. “You alright, need anything?”; “I’m alright, thanks.” “Nice weather, isn’t it? Just a breeze, a nice summer day!” Reality check: about 40° F, 25 mph winds on my face, drizzle and clouds which rush through the sky as if they were under time pressure. “Just a little bit too much sun for my sensitive skin!” 1:0 to me, a smile flits over his face. He reaches behind his seat and grabs a can of “Gull” and throws it towards me. “Enjoy your dinner!” Stones sputter, alone again.
